# 4 in a series, this motif was first created in a fabric sketch. I enjoy using curves, however, with this quilt I also wanted to use strong straight lines, while still maintaining movement in the design. I like to pay close attention to how I use colour to 'wow' the design and give depth to the work. 

I create intuitively, with freehand cutting, designing on a wallboard. I use quilting stitching to bring out the colour and add texture, thus enhancing the overall look.
